New Teacher Orientation 2023
Welcome to Kativik Ilisarniliriniq
This page provides logistical information to all staff who are invited to attend Kativik Ilisarniliriniq’s 2023 Teacher Orientation Week. You should receive an official invitation letter to join this event at the of June 2023. If you are a new teacher for the 2023-2024 school year and did not receive this letter, please reach out to the Human Resources department to confirm.
The content of the Orientation week is complementary to the 3-Day Online Onboarding sessions. It is intended to deepen your understanding of the region, students and the support services, professionals and departments of the board who will be available to you during the year. There is also time for you to see the programs, materials and to start creating your initial teaching plan under the guidance of the Education Consultants. Most importantly, you will meet other new teachers from your village and other villages.
