  • nanuq /aaluk → nanuaaluk → nanualuk
  • saa /aaluk → saaaaluk → saaraaluk
  • umiaq /aaluk → umiaaaluk → umiaraaluk
  • kuuk /aaluk → kuuaaluk → kuugaaluk

We also know that no more than two consonants can appear in a row. This is why the following processes occur.

  • sinik- +ttaili-git → sinitttaili-git → sinittaili-git
  • itiq- +ttaili-git → itirttaili-git → itirtaili-git
  • tikit- +mmangaat → tikimmmangaat → tikimmangaat
