New Teacher Orientation 2025
Welcome to Kativik Ilisarniliriniq
This year, Kativik Ilisarniliriniq offers a hybrid orientation that includes one day of in-person workshops and introductions in Montreal, followed by online sessions offered during the following weeks, while teachers are settling in their school across Nunavik.
This page provides logistical information to all staff invited to attend Kativik Ilisarniliriniq’s 2025 Teacher Orientation.
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq’s new teachers orientation is intended to deepen your understanding of the region, students and the support services, professionals and departments of the board who will be available to you during the year. There is also time for you to see the programs, materials and to start creating your initial teaching plan under the guidance of the Education Consultants. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to meet your colleagues from across Nunavik.
